Dave & Tina have been such great hosts, they were very welcoming. This guest house will cater to your needs and upon request will guide you with further information regarding the surrounding areas and hospitalities. A breathtaking view every morning of the river Wye. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway at a great price, Aberllynfi Guesthouse is the place to be. I would recommend everyone to visit Hay on Wye which is the oldest book town in the UK.

Nice room with a comfortable bed and pleasant decoration. The breakfast is cereals, yogurts and fresh fruit salad which was delicious. This is followed by a cooked option. My husband had the vegetarian breakfast and I had scrambled eggs on toast, both of which were very good. The bread used for the toast was fab, really tasty and was cooked perfectly! There are various homemade jams and marmalade available. The hosts were friendly. The main attraction for us was the location. It is right by the river and you can walk a short distance through the garden and be right on the river bank. We saw many birds and even some cows in a nearby field who came down for a drink in the river. There are lots of places to sit within the garden, even 2 chairs in a shed facing the river, if the weather isn't too good. You can have breakfast outside. We walked to the Old Barn pub (15mins) and very much enjoyed the food and friendly hosts. We would recommend a stay here and hope to return some day.

Overall a wonderful stay. A nice house with beautiful views. The owners were very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We were unable to stay for breakfast so they made us breakfast and a little lunch to go every morning which I thought was a very thoughtful and nice touch. We stayed here as we were working at the Royal Welsh Show, and the house is around 20 mins from there. A nice restaurant and pub in the village. Would recommend and return again.

Absolutely recommended! Many thanks to Tina & Dave for this wonderful stay in this marvellous place. We immediately felt very welcome. Everything was perfect: the room, the breakfast and also the wonderful people we met during the Hay Festival. We already miss the conversations at breakfast and the very friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
